Claims-Related Appeals

“I don't believe that my claim was processed correctly. What can I do?”

Sun Life adjudicates claims according to the provisions outlined in the Plan Document. If you do not agree with the reason your claim was denied, or you feel that an error has been made in adjudicating your claim, you can submit an appeal to the Administration Authority for review. Your claim will be investigated to determine whether it was adjudicated in accordance with the Plan provisions.

Claims-related appeals must be submitted to the Administration Authority within 12 months of the claim being denied.
